Project: Dismantling systemic racism
In July 2022, Kazuri and the ENAR Foundation launched a partnership to build structures designed to combat systemic racism:
-
Community for DE&I professionals in Europe from racialised backgrounds
-
Directory of anti-racism professionals in Europe

Professionals can use the community to share knowledge, collaborate, and access support to further their careers. And the Directory will provide much-needed visibility to both anti-racism professionals and the work that they do, as well as providing a simple way for businesses to get in touch to initiate projects.

Look out for more news to come as this exciting project continues!

Live Q&A: Building inclusive spaces
Marie Dubost and Tamara sat down for a frank discussion on all things DE&I. Topics covered, amongst others:

-
What DE&I is - and what it isn't
-
How businesses can lead with DE&I principles, and what it looks like when they do
-
Innovative ways to promote inclusion and belonging in multicultural environments

European conference on intercultural theory
How can we embrace the true complexity of African cultures?

Together, Dr. Sandy Barasa of Radboud University and Tamara presented original research at SIETAR Europa's bi-annual conference to ask and answer this question, responding to prevailing portrayals of Africa as having a homogenous culture. Their talk invited the audience to see the real diversity within the continent and consequently interact with it and its peoples differently.

By popular demand, after the conference they held a LinkedIn Live to share the research with a wider audience.
